So, that was our experience at school, doing Defile training, Mading, and at last Defile Competition. I would like to say thanks for you, guys, for supporting me and being a good friend. After that, special thanks to Ricard and Melani, for teaching me patiently :) and of course to Paul, who was a great friend and a great captain :) Thanks also for Mrs. Iin who were always supporting us :)

The Last Battle

Greetings!

Wew.. At last.. The Defile is over! Yeah..!! Well, let me tell you what've I done today at my class - XC. Hehe :)

Today, I woke up at 8 (wow!) and then took a bath, had breakfast, rushed in to the car, and then left for school. I was so scared that I was late, because yesterday Ricard said that all of us must be at school at 8.30. And at that time it was 8.50! I ran to my class, and guess what! There were 8 students only! The left still joined misa. Wew.. And then, not for a minute, I found something to do. Drawing my friends' hands. Hehe. That was fun! On their cheek, Lydia and Janno drew "X" and "C" which symbolizes our class. Later on Tria also helped them. And then, for their hands, Lydia and I drew "5" and "5" which means 55 years of Kosayu. For the words XC we used red, and for 55 we used blue.

And then, about 9.20, the misa is over. My friends who have joined the misa ran to the class, and I found myself busy again. Hehe. But of course, that was really fun. After that, Yola came and brought our costume. Well, not a real costume, just a handkerchief that made from batik. We were wearing it and prepared ourself to get ready. And then, some of us were asking for some instructions that they were not clear, and Ricard as our captain helped them, explained it outside the class and did the instructions, so that we could understand better. After we got clear, some of us went in to the class, sitting and singing. Well, that was a good try to make ourself don't get nervous.

After a long time, our turn was coming. We were prepared our mental and went to Maket Room. On the way to Maket Room, there were some students who mocked us because of our draw on the cheek. But we didn't consider them and keep going on. We got the 5th turn, and the start was in front of Girl's Canteen. But actually the judge have scoring us since we left the Maket Room.

And then, the Defile began. Actually, we could do a good job, but the nervous feeling made us couldn't do it. Yeah, there were a lot of people there, watched us, and laughed. Some of them also made some noise that made us not comfortable. That's why we couldn't do it. Maybe we were not prepared our mental strongly. But, we could do our formation 55-XC better! That was really good! And then, after we get the formation, Ricard commanded us to salute the judge and the audience. After that, he said like this, "We're from XC, and we want to say Happy Birthday 55th to Kosayu." Yeah, something like that. Then, we're left the field, walk little bit, saluted to Ricard, and that was over!

After that, we took some photos together in front of the Saint Joseph statue and hold back to the class to have lunch! Before that, Stefanie, Lydia, Marga, Audy, Andre, and some friends from SMPK Kosayu 1 (Saint Jospeh Junior High School 1) said hello to our teachers at SMP. I saw Mam Tyas (my English teacher), Mr. Sergius (my headmaster and History teacher), Mr. Wahyu (my Economics teacher and Java language teacher), and Mr. Tatak (Well, he never taught me any lessons, but he taught me for singing when I was on the 8th grade). Actually there were more, but I didn't find others.. T.T And then, I hold back to class, took some photos of them, and got lunch together. After lunch, we're taking some photos again.. Hehe :) And then, back to home..

Oh yeah, we also had very very sad news today.. Our friend's mother - Sugi - passed away.. T.T Sugi, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope and I pray for you and your family, hope you'll keep on spirit and GBU always.

So, that was our adventure today! Very long, huh? But of course, there were many happy, beautiful, sad, funny, and incredible moments inside our class. And our adventure won't over here! Stay tuned on Anime Lovers! Hehe :P

W.O.R.D.S. Competition

Greetings!

Well, yesterday something really cool happened! One of my friend, Chisa, won the W.O.R.D.S. Competition! She got the 2nd place, and got a trophy. Besides, she'll have a dinner with the judges! So cool eh? And, well.. One thing I was really happy because.. She beat my "enemy".. Haha :P

The W.O.R.D.S. Competition topic is "How's your tradition matter in your life". I think that's the topic. She spoke her opinion all the way in front of 4 native speakers (from America) and of course in English. That's good, yea? Congrats, Chisa! Wish you'll get better in your English, and hope you can do better next time! Oh yeah, for Sienni, don't give up! Maybe you didn't win this time, but you can always do better and keep going on! I know you can do better and next time you'll be the winner! Believe it! Hehe :)

That's Kosayu's Pensi 2009 Theme. Last night, we had Pensi (Pentas Seni) at school (in English Pensi is mostly like Art Workshop). I was one of Pensi's committee. My duty was checked the visitor's ticket, stapled the ticket, and let them in. I was there with my comrades - Heidy, Lydia, Diva, Andre, Erick, Adrian, Sansan, Meylita, Priscil, Yuli, Theo, and Sylvia. We were there checked the ticket and also sold the ticket. And then, our "Pensi's guardians" were Victor, Yulius, Erick, Vincencius, Oky, Dana, Andre, Aldo, Alfano, Julio, and Elricko. Besides, we also had "Doctors Team", as listed Yesica, Jennie, Patricia, Benny, Gumarus, Agnes, and Maria. And then, the "Pensi's Photographer" were Tito, Laurent, Yoza, and Yos. And there were still many name who were Pensi's committee. And as Pensi's committee, we used an eighties' glasses and a shirt which use by committee only.

Well, as a ticket checker, we met some problems. First problem came from a litle girl. Her ticket was torn, and based on the rules, anyone who wanted to go in must show their ticket and the ticket mustn't torn. She couldn't buy the ticket because the locket was closed. So, what should I do? She looks so cute (haha) and almost crying when I said she couldn't go in. So I called Sansan, and then after a (long) time, Sansan let her bought a new ticket. That first problem was overcome.

The second problem came from two western guy. I forgot from where they were, but for sure not from Indonesia. Hehe :P Well, they didn't want the ticket to be stapled. They just want to bring it on, not used it. They would angry if we tried to stapled the ticket and apply the ticket onto their wrist. So, we let them in without the ticket stapled. Wew..

And then the third problem. The visitors were littering the GSG (Where Pensi took place)! But that wasn't a serious problem, after all. Hehe.

The last problem. There were some students (maybe two) who were fainted after dancing! I thought they were Indigo Team Dancers. Thanks God, they didn't take a serious illness, maybe they just too tired. Wew. That was really made us panic.

So, that's all of Pensi's program. And as I mentioned above, this year we invited NUGIE as our Guest Star. And then, after Pensi was over, all MC and Pensi's committee had a chance to take a photo with Nugie =) After we took a photo with Nugie, we did "Ant Operation", which means that we cleaned the GSG. That was really a great night! =)

First Defile Training

Ahoi!
One-two-one-two-one-two-one-two!

Today, I joined the Defile. I was so busy yesterday and the day before yesterday, so this is the first time I can join the full-time training. And you know, I almost couldn't follow them - their rhythm, and their gesture. So I must concentrate and keep focus so that I could follow them. At last, I could follow them and I understand almost all of the code. For example, when the captain (Ricard) said "Rotate to Left!" we must say "Repeat!" because the instruction is wrong. And then, when we turn left, turn right, or rotate to right, we said "Eak, Eak, Croott..!!" for each step. But of course, the sound just voiced when we're training. That was very fun, besides feeling tired. But well, anything we've done for today were really fun and I think we could do better after this. Because we NEVER GIVE UP EASILY and KEEP ON SPIRIT!

Kosayu Blog-Fest 09

Greetings!

Well, this is my first post about my school, Saint Joseph or in Malang is known as Kosayu (Kolese Santo Yusup). I've never been post anything about my school yet. But now, I'll post something about it, because we're celebrating fifty-five years of Kosayu. There are many ways to celebrate something. Here, in Kosayu, we made some programs to celebrate it. There are Latgab (Latihan Gabungan) for Scouts, KIC (Kosayu Intelligence Competition) for Junior High School students, KBC (Kosayu Basketball Competition) also for Junior High School students, and the last is Pensi (Pentas Seni) 2009. Besides, we also have Defile and Mading Competition.

For this time, I'll post about Pensi 2009, Defile, and Mading Competition that will be held on 2-31 March. Because they're the recent activities for this month and those activities will be the ending of fifty-five years of Kosayu celebration. And of course, I'll mostly focused on my class - XC - for some posts. But I'll also looking for other classes to gather some information.
